A weekend that started in full panic mode

Thursday was a busy day. Interview. See Myles. Drive to Wales. It all went well until I got Shaun to change my break bulb. I didn’t turn the engine fully off. Changing the bulb killed the battery.

Click-click-click.

This unexpected turn of events completely threw my mind mode into blind panic.

I’m not very useful when in panic.

Fortunately, Shaun’s good at bossing me around. We were in the car spare parts shop car park. It was only a question of buying a battery and sticking it in.

A point to note: car batteries are really, quite unexpectedly, fucking heavy.

Since arriving in Wales, it’s rained, rained, rained.

Proper rain. Real fat drops. None of that misty south England shit.
