A weekend that KO’d the kid

Myles came ’round Saturday after his half term on holiday, fresh from visiting friends. From what I’ve been told, and he doesn’t remember much, there was a lot of running, screaming, and bouncing off walls, driving parents nuts.

Still full of beans, he arrived after a mile and a half scoot from the train station, and immediately got Shaun where he belongs, making pancakes.

After we’d popped down under for a vampire rock concert (Scooby-Doo), we went to see the hovercraft struggle to move in the headwind.

Another mile scoot later, and the kid fell asleep in his dinner.

Sunday was a mooch day full of relief and joy.
