Why do today what can be done tomorrow?
That was the mantra of this past weekend.
It’s somewhat the mantra of my life but that’s another story.
It all began without a road trip to London. Now I think of it, that may have been pencilled in for the weekend before. Whichever, it hasn’t happened.
After all that not-driving, I didn’t have a haircut. I didn’t pop into town. I did clean the whole sink area but discovered it was half the job I thought, so did half of that.
What I did do was find every excuse not to do. Talking on the phone, watching movies, reading — it’s amazing what can be achieved in lieu of important things.
As a professional procrastinator, I enjoyed this weekend.
