No?

Well, whoever thought to name this flower saw a scrotum.

They took one look at the orchid’s tubers

And thought ‘bollocks’.

The word wort comes from the Old English wyrt, which means ‘root’.

Scrotumroot.

Bollockwort.

Testicle.

‘Orchid’ just sounds so much less ‘male genitalia’.
